RSA Releases Innovative Output Management for In-Plants and Corporate Print Centers

Rochester Software Associates (RSA), provider of production print workflow software solutions for in-plants and corporate print centers is now shipping an innovative new release of QDirect™ Output Management software.

Available now, QDirect v4.0 packages increased functionality in a new, easy user interface that changes the playing field by giving users precise control over how they want to view and manage the jobs in their operation down to the printer level.  QDirect is unique, supporting all print streams including transactional data center and publishing print jobs. This capability enables print centers to view and manage all jobs from one application.

In a totally configurable dashboard, users can create a dynamic custom view or views to suit their needs. Whether a user wants to simultaneously monitor destinations and origins, view printers and their status, or simply review all jobs in the system, QDirect lets them bring to the forefront what is most relevant to them at any time.

Increased functionality in this application includes:

  • Drag and drop job management
  • Improved status notifications that make operation status readily apparent at a glance
  • A new job time estimator that arms operators with better information to schedule jobs, and
  • New page reprint capability, eliminating the need to go back to the source to generate reprints.
