Rochester Software Associates Introduces RDOPrint.com Web Site to Help Customers Convert RDO Print Jobs to Print on Diverse Printers

Rochester Software Associates (RSA), a provider of premium production print workflow software solutions, is introducing a whole new way to experience RDOPrint™.  Launched today as new self-service web site, www.RDOPrint.com, is available for customers and channel partners to submit RDO files for conversion in minutes.

At http://www.RDOPrint.com, site visitors can leverage their investment in documents created by Xerox DigiPath® and FreeFlow™ Makeready to print these documents on diverse production printers.  RDO (Raster Document Objects) is a proprietary Xerox file format used to save documents created using Xerox FreeFlow™ Makeready (also formerly known as Xerox DigiPath®). With RDOPrint from RSA, RDO documents are converted to PostScript - with job ticketing retained - to print on virtually any manufacturers' production printers, or can be converted to PDF for convenient viewing, sharing, and archiving. The new site uses RSA's RDOPrint software to convert files uploaded by the customer to industry-standard PostScript and PDF.

Tim Kelly, Senior Vice President at RSA, stated, "Since its inception, RDOPrint has given our customers the flexibility to print their documents in a variety of production print environments.  As a natural evolution to streamline the sample submission and ad hoc conversion process, and to meet the requests of customers and partners to try the product without purchasing a license, we developed the www.RDOPrint.com web site."  Continuing, he said "This new site creates an easy and simple sample submission and conversion process that saves time, while demonstrating the ability to convert RDO documents to print on multiple devices with job ticketing."

The sample submission and RDO file conversion processes on the site are very straight forward. Users create an online account at www.RDOPrint.com, and then submit sample RDO files to be converted to watermarked samples or purchase RDO file conversions for production print use.

RSA's workflow solutions are available through RSA's partners and directly from RSA. To learn more or register for a free account, visit the new site at www.RDOPrint.com or RSA at www.rocsoft.com/products/rdoprint/.
