Rochester Software Associates' Case Studies Included in PODi's Prestigious 2010 Collection of Digital Print Success Stories

PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, announced today that Rochester Software Associates' case studies, detailing the exceptional work done for Villanova University and Washoe County School District have been accepted for inclusion in the PODi Digital Print Case Study Database, the world's largest collection of outstanding digital print case studies. Selection for this compilation is based on a project's marketing and print innovation, and its superior results.

PODi, the Digital Printing Initiative, accepts submissions annually for its collection from print and marketing service providers from around the world. The Villanova University case study details the challenges faced by the university print staff in their effort to streamline print production, as students, faculty and staff had to deal with an inefficient submission process that was time-consuming and error prone. The university, in need of a customizable solution to serve the varying needs of everyone at the school, implemented WebCRD from RSA to automate the process, reduce print times and increase efficiency.  Since implementation, the school has seen resounding results, with increasing revenue, faster turnaround times, and satisfied customers.

The Washoe County School District faced similar challenges. This case study describes the district's efforts to leverage new production print equipment while facing a time-consuming manual method of submission and ticketing that held great potential for human error and subsequent fulfillment delays. Through an installation of WebCRD, the district was able to optimize print production and increase volume with the new equipment and centralize print in a more efficient print center. Furthermore, they were able to greatly reduce cost per job.
