The success of this system has been illustrated in the way that the jobs are being processed, printed and delivered. It has enabled us to send the job ticket along with the print file and the specifications to the Print Operator. Because of this capability the Operators are more informed about the details of every job and this has lowered the incidence of mistakes, which has saved money and time on reprints. The fact that we can track the production has been a great asset because we can be proactive when a problem arises before we miss a deadline.
The ability to use Fusion Pro to program the variable fields is a capabitlity that we did not have in the past. This allows the customer to print out group enrollment applications and make them specific to the group. We are now thinking of more ways to use that capability to save time and money for the customer. Also, since the inception of this system, we have increased our work load by 109% without missing a deadline.
With Dynamic Templates our workload in our Graphics Department has moved from simple form setup up to more advanced and profitable design projects.
