RSA WSPR Technology - Secure local printing from RSA Hosted Applications

WSPR (pronounced "whisper")- is a client-side technology that enables customers using an RSA hosted product to securely and easily print locally to print centers without IT involvement.

WSPRTM is a client-side technology that can retrieve print ready files from an RSA hosted product and forward them to a local production print device or workflow software. All WSPR communications are conducted using standard HTTP/HTTPS protocols. If your web browser can reach the Internet, WSPR can, too.

Requiring no hardware from RSA, the WSPR client is a small footprint PC-based application with a simple interface. When the PC is connected to the Internet and running the WSPR application, it automatically downloads print files and submits them to your production printers. Because the majority of the configuration information including the local printer information is maintained on the hosted service, the only configuration required is providing the WebCRD hosted system URL login credentials.

Once configured, an operator uses the standard RSA Production print module to release a job to a designated printer exactly as they would if the RSA software was installed locally.
